Get Current Location

No Position

This function will attempt to get your current location using your phone's location system.

You will need to enable the location service on your phone.

Turning your phone's GPS on will result in vastly superior location accuracy. GPS should normally yield an accuracy of better than 50 metres.

If an accurate location is successfully derived, your location can be used automatically as the location for your report, where you will then also be able to fine tune the sighting report location if necessary.

Tap Start to scan the GPS satellites for your current location.

Tip: You can get your location, click REPORT SIGHTING (in the GPS Scan box), then complete the rest when you get home, as your GPS location will be saved.

502 sightings so far!
